GILGAMESH

THE STORY OF GILAMESH... the story begins at Mesapatamia (modern Iraq)in the city of Urk,the city of Gilgesh.He is two-third of a God,he sure strong,he can't fly, and he can't live forever. It was the ''can't live forever'' part worried him a lot! But the Gods wanted to challenge him so, they build a man that could fight Gilgemsh,named Enkidu. When the Gods put him on Earth he fought Gilgamesh and at the end they became good friends. But then the friend s got bored so they went on an journey to a forest, to cut down the trees so they could make gates for Urk. During the trip they packed materials and food for the trip. One problem was the monster at the start they didn't meet they didn't meet him. When they started to cut down
trees the monster cane so Enkidu and Gilgemsh came slicaed his head off .






The story of this story is to be brave and find F.U.N. Because look at Gilgamesh, he made a friend and he had fun so. This entire time he made a friend in a funny way.

I think Gilgemsh is a hero because look he made the city of Urk.

Setteling in Sumer

Man this stinks!We have been wailing for days in the sun.Its so hot,many people are dying.There is no water and no food,I'm starving myself.My family and I are farmers but ,ever since the drought....we can't grow any thing but dust.During the nights the floods sweep out our camp, many people died.Right now we are walking in a swamp from last nights flood,and our feet a full of mud.Days we have been walking now,we don't know when will start our new live our new lives.Finally we are what we call Sumer.But now we have ate and we are growing our crops back,still floods destroy our crops and killed our people.Now we have a thing called a levee but since it is all over the place it is now an irragatoin system.So now Sumer is a wonderful place.
